modern manor matrimony: The cobb wedding

From a coffee shop meet-cute at Texas Tech to a breathtaking proposal in front of Oregon’s Multnomah Falls, Gigi and Colton’s love story feels straight out of a movie. The pair tied the knot at The Springs in Weatherford, Parker Manor, surrounded by their loved ones in a celebration that was effortlessly chic, deeply personal, and full of unforgettable details.

the proposal

Gigi and Colton share a love for adventure, often spending their time hiking and exploring the outdoors. During a summer trip to Oregon, they visited the famous Multnomah Falls, an iconic backdrop from Twilight, Gigi’s favorite movie. After waking up at 4 a.m. to catch the sunrise, Colton got down on one knee at the base of the waterfall and asked Gigi to spend forever with him. “It was perfect,” Gigi recalls. “He even designed my engagement ring himself—it’s so personal and thoughtful, I still can’t stop looking at it!”

the vision

When it came to planning, Gigi knew exactly what she wanted—a timeless black-and-white affair that perfectly complemented the grandeur of Parker Manor. “I loved being engaged and planning everything,” she says. “Parker Manor was the only venue I saw in person and I instantly loved it.”

Her décor leaned heavily on candlelight for a romantic glow, accented by white roses and striking touches around the grand staircase. The result was a sophisticated celebration with an editorial edge.

before the vows

The morning unfolded in true Parker Manor fashion—graceful, calm, and filled with laughter. Gigi spent the early hours surrounded by her bridesmaids in matching black satin sets, sharing coffee, memories, and a few happy tears before stepping into her gown. Her bridal look was timeless: a structured white dress, a sweeping veil, and a bouquet of classic white roses.

Meanwhile, Colton and his groomsmen suited up outside the manor, their black tuxes echoing the couple’s elegant monochrome theme. Between final touches, sentimental details, and quiet anticipation, the day felt poised for the heartfelt vows to come.

a moment in time

Gigi and Colton exchanged vows inside the stunning white chapel, surrounded by loved ones and filled with emotion. The moment Gigi walked in, Colton couldn’t hold back tears, setting the tone for a heartfelt ceremony neither will forget. “It was my favorite part of the whole day,” Gigi said. “Saying our vows out loud was so emotional.” With a joyful kiss and a walk back up the aisle, they stepped into married life exactly the way they imagined.

the celebration

As the day gave way to the evening of celebration ahead, guests indulged in everything from fresh, fire-oven pizza and coffee cart, to a curated cigar bar. A tattoo artist brought a modern edge to the reception while cat-themed napkins and dance floor cutouts added an extra dash of personality to the party. Gigi’s three dress changes created mini fashion moments throughout the evening, leading seamlessly to a vintage-style cake cutting and a dance floor that stayed full until the last song. Ending the evening, Mr. & Mrs. Cobb were swept away in a striking red vintage car to begin their happily ever after.

a word from the couple

Looking back on their day, Gigi offered a reminder as timeless as their celebration itself: “If I could give one piece of advice, it would be to take it easy and remember why you’re getting married. It’s not about how everything looks, it’s about marrying your best friend.” It is a sentiment that grounded every part of their wedding, from the emotional ceremony to the lively reception. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Cobb!
