Real Wedding at The White Sparrow: Brianna & Ben
Benjamin and Brianna’s White Sparrow wedding featured classic black and white details, private vows, and an intimate celebration.

Brianna and Ben Brauchts’ love story began at work, where a friendship between a dispatcher and police officer turned into happily ever after. After two years, their love story unfolded leading to a thoughtfully planned proposal in Waco — one of their favorite places to escape together. But their timeline didn’t follow tradition. As Brianna shared, “Ben and I were engaged for about 13 days before we felt it in our hearts that we couldn’t wait any longer and wanted to be legally married! Went to the courthouse and took care of that but knew we still wanted a celebration with friends and family. We found The White Sparrow in July (yes before being engaged…..I like to plan ahead lol) and immediately knew it was the one.”
Their design centered on a black and white palette, elevated with gold, greenery, and our fav — the checkered dance floor from The Springs DJ. Before the ceremony, the pair stepped away for private vows, which became their favorite part of the day. At the altar, Brianna stepped on her dress and slipped. As she put it, “I am very accident prone and free walking down the aisle I stepped on my dress at the alter an slipped! Almost went down but my husband caught me lol.” Honestly, a pretty accurate metaphor for marriage in general: almost falling, but someone’s there to catch you.
With around 50-75 guests, the day was a perfectly intimate celebration with the ones who love them most. We asked Ben & Brianna one piece of advice they’d pass on to future newlyweds and they shared, “The day goes by SO fast. Really take the time to be with your spouse and soak up every moment. Lots of people will want to make this day about themselves but just be intentional and remember the only people who matter are you and your person!” Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Braucht!
