Their wedding day at The Springs in Waxahachie was a true reflection of everything they cherish: faith, family, and an overload of joy.
For Meadow, the proposal was nothing short of a masterful surprise. She had no idea the spotlight was about to be on her. “I have a lot of sisters,” she explained, “so my mom came in crying, saying my sister’s fiancé was going to propose that day.” Everyone played along, even suggesting a girls’ day of getting ready to make it feel real. Meadow’s best friend even left the house, further throwing her off the trail. It wasn’t until she was blindfolded and led to the proposal spot that she realized: this wasn’t her sister’s big day. It was hers. The emotion, the build-up, and the love poured into the moment made it one she’ll never forget.
Meadow had always dreamed of a spring wedding. Something soft, romantic, and not too hot. So when Carlos proposed in January, April felt like the perfect choice. That left just three months to plan the entire day. With her mom by her side every step of the way, the experience became not just doable, but deeply meaningful. “I honestly couldn’t have done it without her,” Meadow shared. “She made all my dreams come true.” Their vision came together beautifully at The Springs in Waxahachie, chosen for its serene setting, natural charm, and welcoming staff that made everything feel effortless.
As Meadow stepped into her dress, soft light poured through the window and caught the lace of her veil just right. Our Coordinator, Lindsay, recalls our bride being “extremely sweet and calm the entire day”. Outside, Carlos and his groomsmen were laughing and hanging out under the trees, fixing boutonnieres, cracking jokes, and soaking up the sunshine. Family played cornhole nearby, final details came together effortlessly, and everything just felt right. You’d never guess this wedding was planned in just three months.
Before heading to the ceremony, Meadow shared a few sweet first looks—one with her bridesmaids, followed by the groomsmen, and completed with an extra special moment with dad.
Taking place beneath the enchanting trees, complete with Meadow’s dream palette of blues and vibrant hues, their spring wedding was everything they had hoped for. Honoring a special request, her father officiated their union, making each moment that much more meaningful. Meadow recalls to us that she was surprised by the amount of happy tears she saw, including Carlos. Watching their reactions is something she tells us she will never forget. Their coordinator, Lindsay, said it best: “The way Carlos looked at her all day was like he was seeing her for the first time, every time.”
No wedding celebration is complete without a bouncy house, a phone booth guest book, and yes—that’s a mini pancake bar!
It’s hard to believe Meadow and Carlos planned this entire celebration in just three months. From the calm energy of the morning to the emotional ceremony and joyful reception, everything came together so seamlessly. One of Meadow’s favorite moments was simply sitting beside her new husband, taking it all in. If she had any advice for future couples, it would be to arrive early for setup, especially if you don’t have a big team helping. But above all, she’d say this: focus on the love, and everything else will fall into place.
