For Kaci and Lucas, these sweethearts’ forever love story started all the way back in high school where they met, went to prom together, and built a relationship that has been growing ever since. On their wedding day at The Springs in Tulsa, overlooking the calm lake waters, Lucas’s mom couldn’t help but reminisce about their prom photo—saying he looked just like a young Clark Kent (he really does!!). That sweet reflection is the perfect nod to who they are: a fun-loving, photogenic couple whose story feels as timeless as the famed Metropolis duo.
Their Lakeside ceremony was set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Skiatook, offering panoramic lake views and a floral arch that perfectly framed the spaced they will say “I do”. The morning was spent sharing sentimental first looks with the special men in Kaci’s life, final getting ready touches with Lucas and the guys, and soaking up the life-changing moments that are to come. Kaci walked down the aisle with a smile brighter than the Oklahoma sun, showing no signs of wedding day stress—love that!! Their florals, created by a family friend, tied everything together with pastel blooms of pink, purple, blue, and ivory, adding a soft and romantic touch to their day.
Inside, tables were styled with flowing blue runners, gold chargers, and lush florals that brought the lakeside indoors. Guests enjoyed a celebration that was equal parts elegant and laid-back, full of laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. As the evening came to a close, Kaci and Lucas slipped away to the lawn overlooking Lake Skaitook, where the sun painted the perfect scene for their first portraits as husband and wife. Congratulations to The Mays!
