As we mentioned in our last Springs Blog, we are always looking for ways to keep our venues fresh, updated and beautiful for our couples. But this doesn’t just pertain to bridal suite renovations. We are so excited to share that The Springs in Edmond is getting a white wooden wedding chapel on property!
Our team broke ground on this chapel in mid-January and the progress has been great so far!
We started by scouting the perfect location for the build; in the clearing to the left of the reception hall, as shown in the below. After the location was chosen the space was taped off, leveled, and the foundation was finally poured!
Less than three months later we now have a standing building! Wahoo!! We still have a long way to go into making this chapel wedding-day ready but seeing the structure on the property makes us so excited every day that we come to work.
How many guests does the chapel seat?
We wanted to be able to accomodate all of your guests, so The chapel’s seating capacity is the same as the reception hall, with a maximum of 320 guests.
When will the chapel be finished?
The chapel is expected to be completely finished and wedding-ready by the fall of this year (2023)!! We don’t have an exact date yet, as we are constantly working with the weather and around weddings and events at the venue. We know that no one wants to hear loud construction during their vows, so we try to be as curteous as possible to our booked couples.
Is there an additional cost to use the chapel?
No! Once the chapel construction is completed, it will be free for our booked couples to use as an alternative to our outdoor ceremony site! It will be like any other amenity that is listed on our website.
