Do you ever get slightly anxious about wedding planning or newlywed life? Between planning a “Pinterest-worthy” wedding and balancing a life together with your forever-partner, it’s so easy to feel a little bit overwhelmed. We don’t blame you and in fact, we’re here to help! With the amount of industry (and life) knowledge we have as a company, we wanted to share information on how to navigate some exciting, but difficult, topics with you!
First of all, Engaged! is a COMPLETELY FREE EVENT! That’s right – years of industry knowledge shared for zero cost to you! No catch – all we ask is that you RSVP!
The event itself will be a short series of talks given by 5 different industry leaders. We’re covering some engaging topics including wedding planning for every budget, family financial planning, conflict resolution, and (an always popular topic) Wedding Planning: HOT TAKES! While you listen to our amazing speakers we will also have wonderful sips and delicious treats provided by Texas Catering Co. and Corn & Rye. Between speakers, there will also be some time to mix, mingle and enjoy some tunes provided by Southland DJs.
First, we have the owner and lead designer of Coco Fleur, Lisa Stiles, along with Cindy Thurk, founder and lead planner of CM Promotions. Together they have over 30 years of industry experience and plan on discussing what couples can expect for weddings at different price points.
Next, we’re staying close to home with a former CEO of The Springs, Danny German! An all-around businessman, Danny will be able to give couples lots of insight into smart financial planning as a couple!
Third, is the executive leadership trainer and coach, Melissa Ashton. She will be speaking about the most common issues that couples face while engaged or in their first few years as newlyweds.
Lastly, we have Venetta Petties, the owner, and coordinator of Pink Glitter Events. She has coordinated over 300 weddings and events since July of 2017 and is equipped with all sorts of need-to-knows for your wedding day!

This event will be held in The Ranch at The Springs in Denton on Sunday, September 11th from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. We will have tables and chairs set up for you to sip, snack, listen and relax in comfort! Be sure to tour the venue and all its amenities while you’re there 😉
