Raise Your Glass to Unforgettable Moments
As the curtains of love are drawn back, revealing the enchanting stage for your wedding day, every detail must resonate with the essence of your unique love story. From meticulously crafted signature cocktails to a professional team ready to cater to your every beverage desire, Corn & Rye Spirits Catering is more than a refreshment station—it’s a spirited journey tailored to complement the romance, excitement, and style of your special day.
Here at The Springs, we do require that you use a Springs-approved bartending service. We do this for the secuirty and safety of your guests. Corn and Rye, our all-inclusive bartending package is on our approved bartenders list, as well as included in our wedding package!
This is a great question to ask because you will save yourself some stress later on if you know your point of contact up front! The Springs bar service, Corn and Rye is at your reach anytime via phone or email. Corn and Rye will reach out to you 2 weeks before your event to finalize package selections.
Each bartending service will have a different way of setting up their pricing, so this question is always worth the ask! For example, Corn and Rye has a range of packages to choose from, starting with beer and wine, all the way to beer, wine and premium liquors. Corn and Rye is also an all-inclusive bar service, which means they provide everything needed for the bar: the cups, ice, coolers, straws, napkins, bar tools, garnishes, alcoholic and even non-alcoholic drink selections.
These are important questions to ask every vendor that you interview. These questions can save you lots of money in the long run, just by being informed on the company’s policy + contract details.
This information is necessary for your coordinator when it comes to wedding day. It is your coordinator’s job to ensure that vendors are on site in a timely manner to ensure a smooth and seamless day. For example, Corn and Rye arrives to your event 1-1.5 hours before the bar opens at your event, depending on your event needs. They will stay through the bar service hours designated in your contract before cleaning up and heading out.
No matter the bar service that you choose to book, the number of bartenders will almost always depend on your event guest count.
When it comes to tipping on wedding day, there really isn’t a set standard when it comes to tipping your vendors. Many, you can pre-pay gratiuty with your final payment. Some vendors may use a tip jar. Really, tipping your wedding vendors should be a future blog topic – there’s so many different ways! 😉
If you book with The Springs prefered bar service, Corn and Rye, buying cups and other items for use behind the bar is one thing you don’t need to worry about! However, if you would like to use specialty cups with your names, wedding monogram, or even your pet’s face, you will need to purchase and supply those to your bartender on wedding day. If you have an all-inclusvie bar service, the number of specialty cups to purchase is completely up to you! Just be sure to let your bar tenders know how many cups you plan to bring, so they can be prepared as well.
This question is important to ask, as you will want to make sure between your caterer or your bar service that your non-alcoholic drinks are covered. Corn and Rye has a variety of non-alcoholic beverages that they supply based on your chosen alcohol package.
One thing you know for sure when you book Corn and Rye, is that your bartenders have been trained and TABC certified, so your guests will have an enjoyable and SAFE evening celebrating.
If you are looking for a bar service with a little extra *spice* feature bars like a margarita or coffee bar is such a fun way to go! Both of which are convieniently offered by Corn and Rye!
The wedding aesthetic doesn’t stop at the bar! Asking these questions will ensure that you know how you want to decorate your bar. For example, our barteners at Corn and Rye will arrive to your event in black pants, a black shirt and black shoes. Additionally, they will display your chose drink selections for guests to view, but you are welcome to provide any additional menus or bar decor that you would like!
If you plan on hosting an outdoor cocktail hour or reception, you need to ensure that your bartenders are able to work outdoors. Corn and Rye does provide a 2-level pop up bar for an additional charge, or you can have your venue team set up a table, which would need to be notated on your seating chart.
Of course you need to be prepped and ready for speeches and toasts! Having champagne pre-poured for this part of your reception helps the night to keep up a fun pace. Lucky for you, Corn and Rye can pre-pour up to 25 glasses of champagne to be toasting-ready.
You may not know it, but bar services keep your drinks cold using coolers behind the bar (especially if you are having a mobile bar). Make sure that your bar service is going to bring coolers along to keep your drinks refreshing and cold.
If you plan to bring any specialty bar items to “decorate” your drinks (ex: koozies, stir sticks, or cocktail wafer toppers, to name a few) make sure that you discuss this with your bar service team beforehand. Communication when it comes to these small details is what makes an event great! Plus, you wouldn’t want to buy 250 koozies for them to get left in a box behind the bar!
If you choose an all-inclusive bar service, like Corn and Rye, leftover alcohol is one thing you won’t need to worry about! They bring plenty of inventory to provide for your event and remove what is not drank at the end of the evening. Making it less clean up for you and your family!
While this is a great question to ask, keep in mind that your inital quote may look different than your final payment, based on the number of guests that attend your wedding or event. The inital quote you recieve is to help you budget, so we reccomend anticipating and budgeting for every guest that you invite. This way you are sure to budget enough money for the big day!
Like other wedding vendors, there will be an inital deposit to reserve your date. Make sure you know this number before officially booking to help you budget. Most bar services, like Corn and Rye, don’t require a payment until 2 weeks before your event, as your final bill will depend on your event’s guest count.
At The Springs, it is written in our contract that alcohol cannot be served on venue property without an event bartender present. Lucky for you, Corn and Rye now offers a suite service package for up to 2 hours while you and your party are getting ready! and BONUS – it doesn’t count against the event bar time designated in your contract!
