In March of 2023, The Springs added a new venue location to our company. Formerly known as Hidden Waters Wedding and Events, now, The Springs in Waxahachie was the perfect addition to The Springs!
Built in 2016 by a native Ellis-county family, this stunning Tuscan-themed venue has been breathtaking to all. The property stretches over 19 acres of gorgeous woodland that surrounds the hall in peace and tranquility. The reception hall holds up to 300 guests and features a vintage bar nook and a large indoor wood-burning fireplace.
When it comes to additional rooms, there are two dressing suites available for you to get ready in, a beautiful atrium to place your guestbook, a large prep kitchen, and spacious restrooms for your guests to use throughout your event.
Outdoors, there are currently two ceremony sites. The main one is located behind the venue surrounded by gorgeous trees. The second option is the multi-functional courtyard! We have seen many couples hold cocktail hour outside in the courtyard, and it’s one of our favorite uses of the space!
The Springs in Waxahachie has some incredible details that you won’t find anywhere else in North Texas. Our favorite is the historic natural spring! This courtyard-adjacent water feature was used in 1861 by the Texas Cavalry. Since it is a natural spring, it is always moving; which means it will never freeze in those cold winter months! However, the spring is deep so we do ask that guests refrain from any interaction with it for your safety.
Another thing we love: the greenery! This venue is covered in vines and ivy that allow you to really lean into that Tuscany vibe. We maintain this greenery so it is sure to never cover any windows; that way, you can get all the natural light inside that you desire. Our routine maintenance also keeps the venue and landscaping photo-ready!
Last but definitely not least, we swoon over our antique wooden doors and our vintage bar! All of these fine wood pieces were purchased and restored to their original glory, just for our venue! They give the space so much character while being the perfect subtle compliment to the Italian theme of the venue.
